In the next four decades chinese metropolis is going to become vast, extremly dense urban enviroment; triumph of the unnatural over natural. But by the mid twenty first century rapid growth will stop, and new post-industrial metropolis will replace the old one. Architecture in the new metropolis, beside providing basic shelter will have to enrich lives of the urban dwellers.
The strategy of incorporating public glass houses in the skyline provides natural enviroment at various heights, available to the dwellers of metropolis. Glasshouses vary in size and shape, and glass, beside being a structural element is a membrane effecting temperature and enviromental conditions; altering plant growth and therefore allowing numerous atmospheres and scenarious to occur.
